Can you guess how many people live with SCIs?
How many people in the United States live with a spinal cord injury? The answer is staggering: over one million people.
The Christopher and Dana Reeve foundation just conducted a survey and found that 1.3 million people in the US have a spinal cord injury. It blew away previous projections, and more importantly, will give biomedical companies more financial incentive to invest in therapies for chronic SCI.
